Artist History
Circo was formed a couple of years ago when front-man,
Chris Mariani left his former band to experiment with the synth/pop
sound. A friend of a friend lead to a meeting with Tony Gral and Steve Mork -
both of which own and operate Nova Musik, a synthesizer retail store in Milwaukee
Wisconsin. A "clash of the musical titans!" Chris was the recipient of "male vocalist of the year,"
1994 for the state of Wisconsin.. beating out such bands as: Violent Fems, the Bodeans, the Gufs and
Citizen King. Coupled with the dynamic synth duo/ Mork-Gral, Circo (Italian for "circus"), have an explosive
chemistry. Thier music stands alone - major or minor label - no label, Circo
enjoys creating enjoyable music. In the meantime we keep our day jobs milking cows and
driving cab... |
