Artist History Born 1987 when Paul Perez felt the calling to embrace the power of a wall of sound, the horns were added to his jazz/jazz fusion quintet "Sneakers." With Keith at the ready, all Mac had to do was transcribe some charts. (Yeah, thats all.) When Paul asked guitarist, Phil Hernandez, if he was ready to do the gig, Phil responded, "Hey, Man. [a la Sammy] It ain't no thang." Paul, of course, grabbed the name. Since then, Ain't No Thang has played everything from the Bakersfield Jazz Festival to the 21 Club w/Lenny White and Bill Champlin to a field of cows in Hanford, CA (a gig's a gig) to various locales w/Bruce Conte or Ellis Hall.
