Artist History In the 80's Ray was a bass player and backing vocalist that played with local bands (Stranded, Abduction, Wicked Gypsy, Shattered Truth) in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. Ray took an extended break from the music scene, but couldn't stay away forever... In the late 90's Ray picked up the mic and started doing small appearances. In 2001, Ray recorded a short demo with his writing partner and brother, Justin LeGrand. But being of low quality and put together in a short timeframe not much came of it. Ray also did a short stint with Poughkeepsie's "Drive" and recorded three songs (Dream, These Eyes and Free Me) with the band. Between the events of 9/11 and some personal stresses in Ray's life, he left the project in the fall of 2001. Spring 2002 found Ray at Sundown Productions, recording the 5 tracks that would become the DEMO2002 CD. Ray has been enjoying a small slice of success from this project with decent Internet radio play as well as getting airplay on local FM stations. Additionally Ray has been featured on numerous websites and e-zines. But the lack of a band is preventing Ray from doing one of the things he loves most... Performing on stage. In early 2003, Ray has relocated to Nashville, TN and is looking for likeminded people to collaborate with.
