Artist History Ralph Lundsten, b 6 Oct. 1936. Ersnas, Sweden Composer, Fimmaker, Artist, Author, Culture Ambassador Owner since 1959 of Swedens most famous picture- and electronic music studio, Andromeda, incl. the Love Machine and other invented synthesizers. The fan club, Andromeda Fan Society, started in 1982. Career: More than 600 opus and 91 records, 12 short films, art exhibitions, a book with CD - "Lustbarheter". Work for the Opera House in Stockholm and Oslo, the Modern Museum and the National Museum in Stockholm, the Louvre and Biennal in Paris, the Triennale in Milano and the Museum of Contemoparary Crafts in New York etc. Subject of a number of Radio and TV portraits and a special portrait-exhibition at the Music Museum in Stockholm 1991-1992 and 2000. Ralph Lundstengarden in Ersnas, Norrbotten has a permanent exhibition about Lundsten. In Guinnes World Records 2000 has Lundstens composition Out in the Wide World (Radio Sweden theme) been choosen as "the most played musical composition". Honours: Grand Prix Biennale, Paris, France, 1967; the Swedish Film Institute prize 1964-1967 and 40 other awards for music and filmmaking. In Germany 1997, Ralph Lundsten was awarded with the Schwingungen Preis, the "Oscar of Electronic Music". Culture Ambassador for Lulea 1999 and member of London Diplomatic Academy, 2000.
