Artist description
The band is composed of one person with a PC-based 32-track digital studio.
All software used is free from the Internet.
Nearly every selections' guitar parts were recorded on the first take (except solos). This is because the
process of recording onto the PC is a minor pain. Mixing of a selection
takes me up to 3 weeks or so for each.
I use Sony Walkman headphones as my recording monitor and I have to play
guitar slightly leaning forward (75 degree or so angle) to prevent the cord from interfering with my playing.
The PC I am using is an Athlon Thunderbird 800 Mhz with 380 Meg of memory.
Every selection has a flaw I left in the final recording. Something like my timing
drifting from the drum track I could have corrected digitally, but would have
spoiled the 'human' element out of the process.
For 'A Decade Later', I used a cheap 5.00 Radio Shack microphone.
For everything else, I used an Optimus 33-3021 with an adapter into my sound card.
I have a standard SoundBlaster PCI128 sound card in my computer. |

Music Style
A little of everything (mostly very heavy and/or scary) |
 |
Musical Influences
Anything I hear that I like (virtually!). Mostly Megadeath, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Pantera, Kreator, StaticX, STP, Soundgarden, and other 80s-90s heavy bands. |

Similar Artists
Anything experimental (I'd be lying if I didnt say I try to sound like my influences). |

Artist History
Just years of making constructive racket with other noise makers (I started
playing guitar in 1983). I did few 'bands' here and there and jammin with friends.
I never made any money from music, and all it ever got me was girls, free drinks,
good and bad times, plenty of stories, and free passes to parties and events
(not a bad trade-off for no money).
I do instrumental-type music, as the last recording I
did was for student films at SIU in the late 1980s.
(like a heavy background MUZAK soundtrack).
Now I punish the world with this vile noise from
a small basement in Central Illinois (for scorn
and/or praise).
