Artist History
Clom was formed on January 1999 in the City of Murcia (Spain). The band was made of 6 members: Jose (Guitars), Andres (Drums), Samu (Keyboards), Ruben (Bass), Alex (Guitars) and Miguel Angel (Frontman), their influences were bands like Incubus, Deftones, (Hed)pe or Tool..
In the year 2000 Clom won the annual music contest in their hometown Murcia (the contest is called Creajoven) in the "sub-20" or "junior" cathegory, with this prize the band recorded two songs in studio ("Slave" and "Stay Away"). After this Miguel Angel left the band due to personal problems. A few months later Jose Antonio joined Clom as the new frontman. With him Clom played live in many concerts and defined part of their style in Nu-Metal. During that time Clom made new songs and archived the old ones.
Clom won the Creajoven again in the year 2001 (this time in the "20+ years" or "senior" cathegory). After some concerts Jose Antonio and Alex left the band. On the Summer of 2001 Alberto (Guitar) joined the band, but the group still lacked a frontman.
Clom recorded three new songs on November 2001 ("Get to the Real", "Justify" and "By the Day") with the colaboration of Gregorio (Screw Coco), Eloy (Loosing Taste) and Benjamin. Ben joined the band as hip-hop frontman |
