Live, the band allows the inspiration of the moment to guide the music, floating effortlessly between their high energy original songs, diverse cover material and fluid improvisation.
The unpredictable and eclectic mix of Big Dive's live performances are the reasons many fans come to hear them at every show. No two concerts are the same.

Artist History
Back in 1996, a small community of music-loving partygoers began to congregate off the shores of Madison's Lake Mendota aboard the infamous S.S. Big Dive. The Launching of that raft was the precursor to a truly unique form of musical exploration and expression.
First surfacing in May 2000, The Big Dive Community Orchestra began creating a distinct variety of melodic rock music.
For the 2 years, the band has divided its time between writing and recording their first original album, "An Exercise in Buoyancy," and live performances in and around Madison, Wisconsin, including multiple shows at the University of Wisconsin's Memorial Union and annual appearances at the Mifflin Street Block Party.
The BDCO's debut album will be available in Early May of 200 |
