Artist description
XOX, creators of LIFE IS OPENED, ©1994, 2002, is aware of the magic within tonal vibrations.
This is a knowledge which the ancient peoples of the world understood,
but was lost to science until recently. The Earth has a resonance which is in
the process of rising in frequency. Every person in the world has their own
resonance. It has even been suggested that the Great Pyramid of Giza is a
tonal device of some type, and has itself been found to have a resonant tone.
Using the technology that modern times have made available to everyone,
Abraxox and Bonfyr Verboo have brought together forces beyond waking cognizance
to create varying images of resonance, of tonality, of sound. These two points
of luminous consciousness have named their endeavor X O X. ////// |

Artist History
The Abstract Dreamteching founders chose for the name of their music, two ancient
symbols which are currently represented as characters within the Modern English
Alphabet: they are the symbols X and O. There are multiple ways to interpret these
icons, one of which follows: X as a reflection of the double helix of DNA when
viewed in profile, O being a sign of the eternal, or, the universe when viewed
from outside of time, and X again, the joining of the two into consciousness.
Therefore: XOX.
United, the three symbols, when spoken using the basic rules of pronunciation,
form a word with the potential to perform mnemonic magic upon the psyche. The
word is hypnotic in its sound, and its tonality opens the subconscious to alternate
interpretations of stimuli. XOX is a mental key which can unlock the static, omnipresent
patterns of perceived reality, thus bridging the gap between inner space and external
time awareness. It infers the shape of deoxyribonucleic acid, the universe, and
the essence of consciousness. XOX is the word, and symbolism, which best reflects
the auditory explorations of Abraxox, and Bonfyr Verboo.
Theirs is a music that can nudge the conscious mind into awareness of thought
levels which most people never realize exist, effectively reproducing a dream-state
and introducing it into the waking mind. Sometimes relaxing, sometimes jarring,
but always effective, XOX creates the music which one might hear during that ripple
in time between now and then, a moment of eternity in which the spark of sentience
infinitely re-ignites. Hauntingly enticing melodies are combined with pulsating
vibrations and are delicately interwoven into driving rhythms, bringing into existence
a new world of music that has never been heard before.
A four-track, variable speed Tascam cassette tape recorder and a standard
stereo cassette recorder were used to make the recordings on which instruments
such as guitars, samplers, synthesizers, and voices were used in conjunction with
sequencers and tape loops. Wherever possible, these recordings have been taken
directly from the master tapes and digitized. If you would like to find out more about
