Artist History In February of 1993 Jonathan, Frank and Perry ended the band called the Beautiful. "I remember we had a meeting at my apartment. I felt so beat down and tiered. No money no record label no management, I just wanted a rest. Frank wanted to keep going, I just couldn't. I knew I was not done playing with Frank and Perry and it was a friendly end." "After the band had split I had a year where I didn't play guitar much. I had gotten a nice little studio together with a few samplers and drum machines, so I just sat around and programmed weird little instrumental things. After a while that got stale, just sitting in my room playing on the computer. John Fryer and I were roommates at the time and he encouraged me to play and write more with a band vibe. Next thing I know, I had this batch of songs that needed a real band to record. The studio time and some cash literally fell in my lap so I had no choice but to call Frank and Perry." February 8, 1996 Jonathan, Frank and Perry entered Nomad studio in Dallas, Texas. Once again John Fryer was at the board to insure it was a Beautiful reunion. The situation was typical for the band, rushed rehearsals (no heat and snow outside the rehearsal space) tight budget and no sleep. As in the past though, they turned out a set that not only shows off the glory of the songs but the intensity of their individual talent. This all may read like hype, but hearing is believing.
