Writing, singing, piano...all came to me as seperate entities and now I have put them together. In the grand tradition of Tori Amos, I'm a "girl with a keyboard" and my music is just strictly that. I'm a singer-songwriter that uses poetry and piano to express something deep in myelf that is otherwise express-less. I'm band-less, and *gasp*, guitar-less. I feel that there is an inherent intimacy that comes from just a voice, an instrument, and poetry. I try to write music that people can feel to.

Artist History I was in a band, and I learned my lesson. So I've been completely solo for about a year. I've been a writer since I could make coherent thoughts, I've been singing for my own pleasure for awhile, and I've always had a piano-obsession, of which I started taking lessons my second year in college (about two years ago). So, putting this all together, I'm trying to become an artist that has something to say and a magical way of saying it. That's all I ask of music, and that's what it asks of me. I play coffee shops in my area, trying to build a following, or at least give some people a piece of myself and some somewhat pleasing music. I'm always listening, and trying to always grow as an artist.
