Artist History Formed in Orange County, CA in 1998 after the members decided it was time to explore their musical interests together, Spitfirevolver officially became a working unit. In that short amount of time, the band has shared the stage with The Get Up Kids, Piebald, Swingin’ Utters, FYP, No Motiv, the Alkaline Trio, No Knife, Midtown, and more.Taking their lyrical and musical influences from bands such as Jawbreaker and Sensefield and performance intensity from Fugazi and Far, Spitfirevolver has proven to its audience that they can deliver time and time again. What started out as an “neat idea,” has turned into a full fledged, hard working band that is ready to conquer the world and take everyone along with them. The last thing the band wants is to be another local heroes act that receives little or no attention anywhere but home. The band released their first record in June of 2000. The “Broken Heart Surgery” EP on Slow Gun Records showed the world what they were made of. The record received numerous praising reviews in such beloved zines such as MaximumRockNRoll, Shredding Paper, and HeartAttack. Scenes do not interest the band at all: they want as many people, no matter what musical tastes they may have, to hear the music and judge for themselves. With this said, Spitfirevolver is now ready to take on the challenge of showing the world what it is made of.

Press Reviews Punk Planet-Three really nice, tight as hell intellectual poppy hardcore songs. Great spooked-out vocals! Expect lots more from this 110% perfect band. AE Motion Sickness-Very good, meticulously crafted pop punk from these So. Cal rockers. The riffing, chord changes, and melodies work fantastically together on this. Tim B. and Chris H. would be jackin' their beets if they heard this. Quite a breath of fresh air on this otherwise done to death genre. Eric
