That's one insane band. I didn't get the band name back when I got the first demo, it's No-ism, meaning their concept is to not have a concept: What we really have here are complex entanglements of ultrabrutal outbreaks, cleverly handed technical brutal death metal riffs that can\ suddenly go completely crazy in some sort of schizophrenic avalanche. It's down-tuned, very fast, but totally controlled. Some kind of contained brutality that can burst out any time. There's a relentless drum machine beat pounding all the way around, very fast stuff too that changes direction every five second. A few obssessive and repetitive samplings of some parts of songs are also thrown in for good measure, as well as weird sorta computerized noises. It's pretty much dementia translated into sounds... I'm sure it will sound "naked" to some, because it's instrumental stuff. And it's kinda experimental too. Personally, I was impressed, it's totally intense and breath-taking; that's a band with a unique vision and true consistence, even if their concept is about nothingness. As for my usual references to other bands, this time I'd have to go with Nile, except it's instrumental here, Noism have the same type of clear and heavy sound, fast riffs and insane technicity.
