Artist History "It's gotta start somewhere……." More Drama was formed in the suburbs of Philadelphia PA in April of 1995. with the merging of two schoolyard friends Jeff Morris(guitars) and Richard Holahan(vocals) met Mark Atkins(drums) through a mutual friend. The chemistry between them was automatic. With Rich being the main source for songwriting, the rest of the band members were free to develop and arrange the music until the songs were complete. Influenced by such bands as Live, Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, and other modern rock bands that dominated 90's radio the band began to mesh and grow in their musical and lyrical abilities Until their own sound was evident. Eventually, this pop rock powerhouse spent all of its spare time in a dimly lit rehearsal hall in Swarthmore, PA, inventing and re-inventing the design for their sound in hopes that it would be a reflection of them. And after 5 years of being driven by a common desire to create powerful, original rock music they were missing a player with the same desire and dedication to make music as they envisioned it. The missisng ingredient was found in Justin Prieur(bass). Another long time friend who grew up in the same area. More Drama experienced life on the small club circuit and has had their share of ups and downs, playing anywhere they were allowed to showcase their talents. Their powerful original songs began to urge others to sing along, and their daring revivals of modern and classic rock, 80's, and a broad list of other cover songs caused a buzz amongst the crowds long after the show was over. In the Spring of 2001 they entered Indre Studios in South Philadelphia. They had grown and became tight as a whole, Three melodic pop songs with catchy choruses and amazing anthem like purity came to represent a band that is determined to have a long career in mainstream music.
