Artist History BIO London's musical canvas is an eclectic synthesis of 70's soul and today's R&B attitude. His love for music began as a child in Philadelphia. Encouraged by his mother, he learned to read and play music picking up Keyboards, drums, and Alto Sax as his tools of expression. While in High School, London began working as a freelance Producer/Songwriter for local artists and formed his own group named AsOne. As a member of AsOne, London developed his vocal chops and tasted success with the release of the group’s first single "Unity'. The single scored regionally in the top 25, as well as gaining airplay in the UK. The groups’ success led to tours opening for After 7, Tone Toni Tony and R. Kelly. London moved on from AsOne to study acting, dance, and choreography touring as principal dancer for the "I Spirit Dance Company".London made further strides toward breaking into the music mainstream placing songs in major film and TV productions, and being commissioned by publishing companies and music libraries. London's productions have been featured in many film and TV productions including, " As Good As It Gets", "The Faculty", "Chicago Hope", "Homicide: Life On The Street", "Resurrection Boulevard", "Touched By An Angel", and "The Profiler". Additionally, London was especially honored to have his song "Get The Funk Up" featured in the trailer of the first movie written and directed by Mya Angelou titled, "Down In The Delta." In 1999, London released his first solo recording titled, "Pure Bliss". The project garnered encouraging regional response topping out at #10 at Amazon.com for 3 weeks, and receiving spins on Phoenix’s KKFR Power 92 and an ADD at MAJIK 107. London made promotional appearances with KC and JoJo, Men Of Vision, and received glowing reviews in Music Connection Magazine and a feature in Phoenix Urban Beat Magazine.An accomplished Songwriter/Producer, London is also considered one of the industries top ProTools Engineers. On any given day he can be found utilizing the full scope of his talents with the industries hottest talents. Most recently he has Recorded and Produced with Nicole Renee, Destiny's Child, Baha Men, and Chaka Khan. This year London is gearing up for the release of his second solo endeavor titled "My Destiny". The album stays true to his effortless neo-soul flow and shows definite artistic growth. Tracks like "All I Want" and "Who" showcase London's knack for constructing infectious rhythms fusing elements of electronica with sugary sweet melodies and catchy choruses. Though the album was entirely Produced by London,” My Destiny" does feature some promising collaborations. "Live" and "SugaHoneyLotsaLovinLady" which were co-written and co-produced by DJ Artie B, showcase London's love for eclectic blends of various genres of music. “SugaHoney” also features some funky Bass work by Superb/Sony Recording Artist Al Berry. On "Angel" and "The Only One", Euro recording artist Antonina lends her amazing vocals, which complement London and the tracks nicely.
