Artist description
Too urban to be labeled "roots rock" and too eclectic to be pegged "alternative," LOM defies description because its sound conjures up a heady cocktail of popular music styles. With special appeal for the educated, hip, and socially conscious listener, LOM is an art band with a distinctly American story to tell. Everyone from college kids to (sub)urban professionals will dig its often-audacious, sometimes-sublime, rock-out, get-a-brain kind of music. Led by Walls-Kaufman on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, LOM has been playing in and around Washington, DC since 1994. Rounding out the band's cast of characters are Erik Robelen on lead guitar and backing vocals, Susan Bohandy on lead vocals and percussion, Jonathan Cannon on bass, and Rick Hodes on drums. |
