Artist description
Ziakas is a gritty, yet melodic, female-fronted pop band that's been creating its sweet rumble
in three minute slabs since 1999. Its bass driven, resonant, trademark roar is reminisent of The
Pixies meet the Cardigans on Pavement. "The Theory of Everythin g" package was created by
Independent Project Press' Bruce Licher. The all chipboard packaging creates quite a unique
presentation for this release. |

Press Reviews
...The twisted yet strangely comfortable material sounds like Marianne Faithfull fronting Steve Albini's Shellac: a collision of the vulnerable
with the impenetrable. With Ziakas, digital crosses over the median and smashes head-on into analog. And someho w everyone survives.
