Artist description
He sits in his wheelchair, leaning against the shelf to support his weak and tired back, in almost complete darkness save a few blinking lights on the midi keyboard, and the glow of the screen. His father snoozes in front of the TV in the next room, his mom is in the kitchen baking cookies. He patiently tweaks and sequences, the sound eminating from the speakers positioned on either side of him. Vague memories of a raven-haired young goddess and other regrets linger here, waltzing in the stale air, mingling with his carbon dioxide. It is only him and his keyboard. It will always be this way until... |

Artist History
Wave Hello Machine has existed since 1995, and has only gotten off the ground in 1999. Between unreliable band members, Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, over-protective parents, lonliness, and sexual frustration it has been slow and shaky at best. Ironically, the very things that anger and sadden me, are the very things that fuel my drive to create. A happy artist is a boring artist in my opinion. I'm not saying that one has to be a walking Trent Reznor and that happy feelings are invalid, but if you never get frustrated or pissed, you're not alive. If you are a musician and you don't feel comfortable expressing bad feelings in song, then cut off your hands and rip out your tongue right now because there's no point in making music or even listening to music for that matter. The A1 main reason I started creating music was to explore and express feelings that at the time I could not express by just talking. I wanted to convey it and I wanted someone to listen. That is my history.

Press Reviews
Super geeky homemade songs with battery operated sounds about
obsessions with goth girls and converts who sell muffins. As more
and more home recording artists are utilizing the resourses of their
old Casios, they take it to new dynamic levels of songwriting.-Eric S
