    Artist History
More underground than a tectonic plate, and twice as devastating when put into action, Trailor Thrash is the soundtrack to last call. For every ten people who flee the supernova that is Trailor Thrash, one person enjoys the deflowering of their aural virginity. But that’s just how it goes when you launch sonic missiles at a bar full of unsuspecting civilians… Formed in 1999 by guitarist Sancho “Del Toro” Sanchez and percussionist David Mantooth, Trailor Thrash did not begin to take shape until October of 2000 when guitarist Chris Andrews was invited to come play bass for the band by Del Toro himself. When Sancho’s Black Sabbath meets Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Devourment guitar styling, Mantooth’s fill-every-note-with-a-drum-and/or-cymbal approach to percussion, and Chris Andrews’ “Isn’t the bass just a really big guitar?” method of bass playing coalesced, it was almost as if the atom bomb had been redeveloped. After nearly eight months of song writing and practicing, it was time to start detonating. The band was nearly forced off stage during their first gig until the crowd cheered for more. And when the crowd received one more, the band was forced off stage for real. This dichotomy of winning fans and sending non-fans running in terror became a major theme of the Trailor Thrash existence. While some rush to the front, some rush to the emergency exit. Trailor Trash is either loved or hated – the sign of a true band. This theme of love or hate -- peace or war – reared its head within the band itself. One word that applies in more ways than one to Trailor Thrash is “volatile.” Trailor Thrash has broken up twice in its two and a half year existence, and it would not be unreasonable to expect another (temporary) breakup in the future. However, there is always a silver lining in Trailor Thrash’s cloud, for the wounds were mended and the music was reborn (both times). Approaching the middle of 2002, Trailor Thrash has two demos, several live radio appearances, glowing reviews from Harder Beat and Dallasmusic.com, two bootleg recordings, and numerous live events under their belt. The near future holds the recording of an independently produced full-length album and more of those massacres they call concerts. Beyond that, who knows? But there will inevitably be more fans won and more heads turned… more guts and more glory… more raw volume and more insanity…… There will be more Trailor Thrash. That’s for damn sure.

    Press Reviews
"Last up for the night was local soon-to-be-legend, Trailor Thrash. The band started off passing around a pitcher a beer, telling us all that it was the only way to hear them, the covered the drum area with chicken wire, and had bones and skulls decorating the stage. Jim Morrison is born again and taken over the body and spirit of bassist Chris. We spoke to Chris earlier in the evening. These are always the guys you worry about. Quiet, sedate manner and way laid back in person, Chris comes alive on stage and shows his true purpose in life. Who would have known that this blond guy in plastic water boots and leather pants would be the one, but damnit, go see him and see for yourself. Trailor Thrash as a band is just as good. The band, heavy and dirty, was an experimentation of noise and passion for most of the set. Never letting the energy wane, Trailor Thrash rocked through their set. They played a song about "running from the border", which was fast, hard and furious in nature. The bell work from the drummer, the slide on the bass and Dave's tight riffs on guitar makes Trailor Thrash the dirty, entertaining band what they are." -- Dallasmusic.com
