Artist History
Tomoyuki Hishiya, b. 1 May 1966, Nagoya, Japan.
I grew up with a bunch of LPs --Bossa Nova, Jazz, and Progressive Rock, and it gave me deep interest in music composition.
I started recordig some music materials onto cassete tape recorder when I was 14, and most of them were kind of Minimal Music or Movie Score with complicated sequences and polyrhythm.
At university I formed "Stones like Rock Band" called "The Hey" with my friends. And I played Drums, Keyboards. The Hey recorded one album called "The Hey" and many studio session tapes during 1987 to 1990. But most of them were lost.
At same time, I started using reverse guitar for my lead instrument. And still under experiment. |
