    Artist History
Some Awful Bridge was born in 1999 in a Nashville restaurant when world-renowned maverick goat-cheese-fetishist "Embryo Jimmy" Dye (ex-autoharpist for Jet Black Factory and Strepanova) accidentally dropped his beret in amateur neurotic Mark Reynolds' chitlins. Meeting for the first time amid a flurry of profanities, they soon saw that a deep connective magick was at work. Some Awful Bridge was initially conceived as an art collective, á la the Aktionists, the People's Temple, or the Monkees. However, the time spent perfecting their body painting techniques and ritual animal slaughter proved more psychically damaging than either "Embryo Jimmy" or Mark cared for, and they soon grew ready for change. Enter darling of the nudist Dada scene, Tyler Azimuth (former Vibes eyecandy). Having just completed his "Naked Purty Dead" series of installations, Tyler was ready for a new media conquest, and saw the ambitious but naïve Mark and "Embryo Jimmy" as ideal pawns for his scheme. Tyler's arrival was like Jack and Janet finally finding their Chrissie. After brief flirtations with snuff filmmaking and improv comedy, the three eventually settled on music. They now aspire to promote world peace and feed all the hungry children. ...And then came Olaf Prout .
