Artist description Nate Hixson gives the guitar pop sound that Matchbox 20 and Goo Goo Dolls have made so popular recently and puts his own twist on it. Though you may find Nate Hixson in the normal acoustic pop clothing (leather jacket, jeans, etc), don't be surprised if see them go for a new style that they are starting, acoustic punk. The music basically sounds the same, maybe a bit edgier, but the image is a total difference that's been long in the making.

Artist History Nate Hixson began when Nate decided to have a part-time solo act from the punk band, Breakthrough, to explore diverse and eclectic forms of music to become a well-rounded musician. Nate and Rick began playing on benches outside of Wal-Marts and various other stores and locations in cities. They have been kicked out of several places including Easton Town Center in Columbus, and even the monument in the middle of the square in Urbana, OH.
