Mickey T is used be a guitar player when he was in Japan (long time ago). He love emotional guitar solo such as Santana. He love passionated expression such as Miles Davis does. His career of electronic musician is not long. He have been running www.drummachine.com and suppoting electronic musicians for the past three years and not really makeing music. He met many talented musiciand though DRUM MACHINE MUSEUM. As a results, he can't stop to compose and perform music by himself again.
He like analog synths and analog drum machines. He hook up many of these instruments and sync all together and compose music that way. His music are quit minimal. His music are mostly less than 8 tracks. He play many instruments at the same but he play them like traditional instruments such as guitar and bass. In other ward, his approach is not multi-track studio work but more like 4 piece rock band or electronic jazz combo. His music comes from inside. It's not neccessary to be follow estabulised music genre or method. House or Dub or such are not important. Just express what he was comes up from the inside. Emotion, Passion, Intense, Experience are key of his music. |

Artist History
Mickey T is founder of Drum Machine Museum. He formed Collision Course in 2001 which is set the goal for new style of music and visual collaboration.
CC play around at only SF Bay Area at the moment. CC had many different performance style with different cast. CC1 perform theatrical music and visual show. CC2 is focus of club gig and perform ultimate dance set.
CC3 perform Jazz flaverd Noise/DUB tunes as well as breakbeaty experimental dance tracks. Mickey T' also play as solo which is more experimental and minimum music than CC but Mickey's songs are often adapt by CC with different arrangement. Please come our live and say "Hi!" to me soon. Mickey T is also a member of Gone Postal which is Dub influenced tribal beat electronica. |
