Artist description
Not really a band as much as a dream. As a poor child raised in the hills of southern Missouri, I would sit on the couch in front yard and dream of singing songs on the radio. I would hold my half retarded uncle/brother in my arms and tell him stories of the big city and how I would make it there some day. But out of hard times comes rugburns and this is my scab. |

Artist History
Back in 1934 a man named Wilbur Turtmine sat his then 12 year old son on his knee and showed him a C major on the guitar. His son would go on to play that cord everyday of his life for the next 40 years until he became known as the master of the C major. He would go on to fame and stardom but he would never stray from the cord he called home. Sadly he died in 1980, but he left behind him a legacy, passing the tourch to Greg young who has since taken that cord and thrown in the two other ones which make up the tribute album that is "Love songs from the Double-wide." |
