Artist History
Glen Preece was born and raised in the small town of Warfield, Kentucky. Being raised in this rural midwestern town exposed Glen to high quantities of country and gospel music, and instilled a great sense of Christian faith in him. But, Glen would not limit himself to the country and gospel music that surrounded him. He was always most fascinated with artists who were unusual and excitingly original. Bands like Kiss and Culture Club peaked his interest during his pre-teen years. In high school, Glen played and sang in bands, recorded full length albums and performed as a solo artist.
When he graduated high school at 18, Glen left the small Kentucky town and attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. There, he immersed himself in his music, realized his full musical potential, and was afforded the opportunity to expand his mind and his music. Upon graduating from Berklee, Glen moved to Atlanta, GA where he continued his songwriting and performing. While in Atlanta, he performed in the chorus for The Atlanta Opera's production of Otello. After living in Atlanta for a little over a year, Glen moved back to his hometown in Kentucky for a short while before moving on to Los Angeles where he is now playing in a band with other Berklee alums, as well as continuing his solo efforts |
