Artist History Gavriel was born in Chicago, and since 1969 he lives in Israel. His parents bought him his first set of drums at the age of seven. By seven and one months Gavriel had drove them crazy from the sound of the drums. Two - three months later he realized that he wants to do something else. In 1967 his family moved from Chicago to Guyea - Liberia and he begin singing with friends his age just messing around. By the age of eleven Gavriel was performing professionally on the stage in front of crowds of at least of two-three thousands people. By age of twenty-one he was lead singer for the Soul Messengers band (in the Black Community in Dimona – Israel). Over the years he traveled and performed practically in four different continents. In 1995 Gavriel and his brother formed EDEN alone with two other Israeli singers, making Israeli soul music. He performed and arranged different music with many other leading artists in Israel. From 1998 Gavriel is a singer and a producer in G-Forces - the international coalition of independent artists, leading them in making gospel, spiritual and soul music from Israel addressed to the believers in Only One God worldwide. In 1999 EDEN represented Israel in a finals of the "Eurovision Song Contest" held in Jerusalem (!), and took fourth place with "Happy Birthday" - the song he was a co-writer. In 2001 Gavriel become a President of international "Raise the Praise Music Festival". In 2002 he was the co-producer of the concert - "Sounds of Love" in Jerusalem. In a 2003 Gavriel represented Israel in the "World Song Festival" in Panama City and took 2nd place with his song "It's my Life". Gavriel was involved in production of nine albums, including four of EDEN.
