Artist description
Do you miss the good old days of Rock, when guitar, bass
and drums were all you needed? Well, look no further
because Ethyl will bring you back! |
 |
Music Style
Rock, with a little bit of punk and stuff thrown in. |
 |
Artist History
The men of Ethyl got together in June 2001 after having bounced around in other bands for a long time. The lineup of Johnny (vocals/guitar), Gwon (bass) and Rob (drums/vocals) is potent, melodic and ready to make an impact on today's stale scene. |

Press Reviews
A Seattle music fan says: Hailing from Seattle's underground music sceen, Ethyl is a mix of talented musicians with the same goal. Straight driving good music. Johnny Low rose from the ashes of UsOfAll to perpetuate his music dream and rock the house every chance he gets. Gwon the bass master coupled with their drummer Rob create a solid foundation to for Johnny's mastery of guitar. With the energy of Gwon and Rob's intrinsic rhythms together they have created a powerhouse of full blown muscle and straight drivin' cruzin' tunes. Fasten your seatbelts and stomp on the gas 'cause the Ethyl is pumpin'!!!
A Dave W. from Michigan says: I listened to a couple mp3s for this band and when I found out they had a disc, I had to have it. Good, straight ahead rock is what you're promised and these guys DO NOT disappoint. Great lyrics, driving melodies, and a very solid foundation -- Gwon is truly a wizard on the bass guitar! -- make this an all around great album! I hope to see more in the future. |
