Artist History In a voice that transcends space and time, Singer Elsie Marie takes listeners on a journey into her world. Never far from any aspect of the emotional spectrum, she approaches music from the heart. She was born in Bronx, New York and at age 12 she moved to Puerto Rico and started her singing career. By age 14, she was with a Spanish band singing Merengue and Salsa. Later, she moved to Tampa, Fla., and skillfully imitated a wide range of voices from other artists while singing with Top 40 bands. She moved to Atlanta,Georgia and started working on her own material. Elsie's love for dance and house music led her to put together this single "I Got To Get Away" also "Tu No Sabes" in Spanish and English. She is BAD, BOLD, BILINGUAL & BEAUTIFUL. This new diva has the complete package of BODY, SOUND,& SOUL. Critics has said her body has been compared to Jenifer Lopaz, Britney Spears, Lisa Raye & Toni Braxton. Her sound is like Gloria Estefan with that touch of Latin Soul.
