Artist History
Complete formed in late 1998, consisting of Kyle Richardson, Jon Goodridge and Darren Goodrige. In April 1999, Complete released their first CD, Anything But…, on Spawner Records. The CD was well received and a video for the single Without a Sound received rotation on Much Music. Over the summer of 1999, Complete appeared on several Canadian compilation CD’s. During the fall of 1999, Complete played many shows throughout BC and Alberta.
In the Summer of 2000, Complete started to gain more exposure with higher profile shows, including the Calgary date of the Vans Warped Tour. After the Warped Tour, Complete began recording their Second full-length CD, titled The Trials and Tribulations of Everyday Life.
In February 2001, Complete strengthened their live show with the addition of second guitarist Andrew Cairns, and were invited on a west coast tour with Gob. With their single This Time receiving regular rotation radio play and Much Music supporting their video for the song Difficult, Complete did a cross-Canada tour throughout May and June, playing 34 shows in 36 days. Complete finished their tour off by playing the Vancouver date of the Molson Canadian Snow Jam concert series.
Complete is now in the process of writing new material for their third full-length album with new drummer Sean Conry. The band has already recorded a few new tracks, which will be featured on the Spawner Records’ Let’s Hope These Are Radio Friendly 2 compilation CD, as well as the re-release of The Trials and Tribulations of Everyday Life. Both discs are on track to be released May 31, 2002.
