Artist History the grouping of ssf is random at best. Erik had been working on summer.so.far with drummer, jon, bassist, chris, and singer jeff. due to severley contrasting styles ssf, and jon parted ways. during practice sessions with john erik had preminitions of it not working out with him, so he had been commnuicating with skip. sure enough a few days after john's departure erik came down to jam with skip. Jeff, and chris lost interest, with jeff having very little time to work on projects, and chris looking for a simpler more oldschool type of band (good luck to you kid). So Skip called in Pat, and Dustin from ssf's brother band desistance to jam along. it was working quite well. before than, erik had been playing phone tag with elliot gagnon (erik's former highschool nemesis, and former bass player of crestfallen, and ex singer of hamartia), we worked everything out with a love of weed, codeseven, and swords. Elliot than came down to boost the sub frequency to the 2nd level. steve from desistance was recently added to the band and has further matured our sound. This lineup is very steady right now. We are all very good friends, and enjoy making music together
