Artist History
Formed in April 2001 as The Burning Reason, the band was ready to rock. Formed in the ashes of Ryan and Will's previous band The Burning Reason is looking to spread their "rock" to any who will listen.Picked by major Minneapolis newspaper Star and Tribune to be the best new band in Minneapolis for 2002.With a debut ep already done and recorded, expect an upcoming release and shows in the future. The Burning Reason is also featured on many upcoming compilation CD's with bands such as Less than Jake, The Bouncing Souls, The Icarus Line, J Church, Ink & Dagger, and The Lawrence Arms. Look for the album in late Summer on Amped records out of Colorado. |

Press Reviews
Well, this cd is definitely not your average emo....is an amalgamation of hardcore, punk and slightly melodic pieces, by far more oomph than emo. The melodic pieces are definitely sweeping and well done, the harder chunks have more beat and power than I initially thought. Still, the hard vocals leave burning memories, all good. Damn intersting band...I can't wait until this full length record comes out...I'm interested!!!
