Artist description Y-LUK-O is progressive and innovative electronic music and is distinguished by the driving beats of intensively edited drum samples, emotional samples of speech recorded and edited on their own in many more or less strange occasions and impressing and variable vocals done by both. Yluko and Leo in their different very recognisable and charismatic styles. The contrast between classical instruments and the electronic elements in their songs generates an immense atmosphere of emotion and extrem density, which is suddenly releaved in salvation by cutting breaks, surprising changes or sudden endings, though the music works very well on dance floors, too. Thus Y-Luk-O creates their own, new style of modern electronic music for the 21st century. Y-Luk-O are Yluko, who is the lead-singer, guitarist and programmer of the band, whereas Leo mainly concentrates on sound-design, composition, backing vocals and production. For live-shows they are supported by Slin Tompson, who plays the e-drums which give additional drive and groove that one can hardly resist.
