Artist History
Toronto-based Latin/Acid Jazz quartet
What Is gained a considerable local following
since 1998 through various live and media
performances. They have performed in a variety
of venues such as The Guvernment, The Left Bank,
Bauhaus, the former Atlas, Abracadabra,
and Turbo. Their music has been showcased in
various fashion shows, namely Fashion Cares'
Ready To Wear and Tommy Hilfiger's Summer
Collection, 2000. They were also a featured
band on the main stage at Toronto's Gay Pride,
1999. The music of What Is has been featured
in various local and national radio and TV stations, including MuchMusic and Bravo. Their performances were also the entertainment headliners |
