Artist History
There is not much history but, in reality it goes way back to 1994. When Ryan was still in Teenage Riot. He was fired shortly after Teenage Riot began. In 1996-1997 there were the infamous jams at Marc's house, under the names like Rubber and the Secluded Mechanism. They were basically an alternative band, turning out covers of Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins. But Ryan's bleeding soul (grrr), longed to do metal so in countless bands and live shows you get Trifixion. A lot of the live stuff is pretty scarce, especially the fight at the St. Norbert Community Center (where most St. Norbert bands play) between Ryan and Teenage Riot's Mike Burmaster and Matthew Johnson with the chairs. That was a great show, the band sucked, but the fight made up for it. Ryan still continued to play, with new bands such as Playskool Prostitutes, which featured James most of the time. A show performed at a house party is all that remains from that short stint. Unfortunately I cannot post the songs up because all that remains are the covers. Ryan still performs in stints with another band featuring Mindy Sharpe, Marc Hallerowich, and Bush Indian, at local Winnipeg bars. |
