Artist description
Myst is a one of a kind emcee, with an aggressive voice and an almost spotless flow. Myst hits hard with ultra combinations, heart-pounding rhyme sceme, and an array of dangerous punches. His creativity amoung battles and songs have also helped him gain a name for himself. Respecting the art of hip hop, he also freestyles, beat boxes, and attempts to breakdance. Myst should be every emcees hero. |

Artist History
As far back as Myst can remember, he was always listening to hip hop. Whether it was in the form of Kris Kross, MC Hammer, or his first actual hip hop cd-Keith Murrey. He first became interested in spitting after he purchased Mobb Deep's third album-Hell On Earth. Making songs, using beats from cd singles, he created his first 5 track "album" on a tape player, when he was 12. At the age of 15, he started to gain interest in making music again, after hearing Canibus's rookie album-Can-I-Bus. Soon he met with his soon to be partner, Prophet and they began making tapes. They made 2 1/2 tapes before relizing the wonder of the internet, and Cool Edit Pro. Myst soon found Rapmusic.com and began trying his luck at the tourniment, hoping one day to make it to the finals. In his third attempt, he made finals, dispite the hatred toward his style. He is now working with his long time crew, Language Arts, on an album to sell to rich white kids, in an attepmt to make enough money to buy a personal studio like Jack Knife. |
