Music Style A Must on Vinyl

Group Members Dustin and Tom went to clown and barber college respectively. They met on the vastly popular downtown people mover. I axed Dustin and Tom for their bios and Tom has sent his and Dustin's respectively. Because they are so well written, I've left it verbatim: Dustin Greer...who is Dustin Greer and where did he come from? Well, Dustin Greer was not born of woman, rather he came to being in a flash of light in the deserts of the Sahara... after 40 years of walking through parched desert sands eating desert insects and vipers for sustenance, the man many have called "he who is, that is, and who will be" reached the land of milk and honey known as Jacksonville Florida. at this point in time "he who is, that is, and who will be" took on a human name...Dustin Greer... for the next 60 years of Dustin Greer's ( AKA "he who is, that is, and who will be" ) lived as a prophet and shaman amongst the Indian tribes of southern Georgia and Northern Florida, teaching them the ways of fire, stone, bow and arrow. He imparted to them a solid work ethic and an appreciation for the bounty of the land. Of course, the white man came and enslaved or killed off all of the Indians, stole their land and shoved them into reservations where their primary source of income was gambling. At this point Dustin " he who is, that is, and who will be" Greer realized his quest in life: TO ROCK! for the next 30 years Dustin "he who is, that is and who will be" Greer crooned to the delight of many woman, songs of the desert and songs of the Indians, but he soon realized that he couldn't speak the language of the land. He then studied English with a transplanted Hindu English teacher name Hammu-al-Muja-bin-ladan, AKA luka-sim-alabim. After mastering the English language, Dustin enjoyed great success in his first two bands...the Beatles and Metallica, but soon he tired of the " rock and roll" lifestyle with all of its trappings: Lamborghini's, drugs, easy women and fame. Dustin decided it was time to take on a new project which would ensure even more trappings of the rock and roll lifestyle : fast cars, loose women, drugs, corrupt politician, mob informants, dirty cops, gang-bangers, hustlers, pimps up-ho's down, Pizza restaurant gigs, the occasional gun fight, monster truck rallies, stock car racing, big screen TV's, free cable, a planter full of cacti and succulents and an encounter with the infamous beast known as "EL CHUPACABRA"... This project was to be know in the annals of history as "1919"... Tom Bennett born 1972 in Rhode Island moved to J-ville ( aka cowford ) in 1973...don't seem to recall the move...not very coherent at the time. I do remember large breasts in my face though. 1977 attended WE Cherry elementary school...regretted every minute except for one time at band camp where we home-made ice cream. All other memories from this time are hidden in dark recesses of subconscious...it's better that way. 1985 attended Orange Park Middle School...first started postulating theory that " life may just suck "...nothing occurred to refute this idea. 1986-1990 finished primary education at Orange Park High School AKA "horror highschool", found piano...life of rock-stardom begun. Loved by friends ( especially the women ) feared and reviled by enemies. now, I work for the man. He plays me much like a marionette on strings. But one day soon I will rise up and kick him in his big fat balls. I am a self taught pianist who later studied and completed a degree in Classical piano performance at the University of North Florida. I have great carpal tunnels, as years of piano/guitar/drum playing as well as lifting weights has not diminished my capacity to perform or masturbate with regularity. God Bless my superior genetics. I have played in three bands... Nudge- a travesty of progressive rock, Gutboy- a tongue in cheek yet deadly serious improvisational rock band and Slug Relay a controversial yet well received Rock Opera troupe. My favorite song that I've written before 1919, is " I don't know what the Sith is, but I know what my dick is " . I also love " 3po-homo ". Both were written and performed while doin' time in Slug Relay. My favorite song from Gutboy is " Shig-shig man ".The words written by Jay Peale based around the phrase "shig-shig man" which was concocted by yours truly. These are classics which any fan of 1919 should check out. I hate jazz. But I love dem' Blues... I still listen to Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. I like long walks on the beach and I am "good fun with a hand gun" If I were asked whether I am a "pimp" or a "playa"...I would say that I am a "pimp". I'm an old school mutha-fucka who "don't be takin' no shit from no bee-otchess...awwwww yeeeahhhh". The true reason for this band is that I am in love with Dustin. This band is an excuse for me to have Dustin around until I get my sex change and I can legitimately ask him to marry me. I want to adopt children and have a house in the suburbs. 1919 is by far the most exciting and musically challenging band I've been in. This is the band that I plan to retire with. The music is fantastic and Dustin is a top-notch vocalist. I think we're creating music that has the potential to really touch our audience, which of course is the goal of all artists. There is a very universal and timeless feel about what we're doing in this band and it grows with each gig/practice and recording we do. I love it. I am very proud of our work and extremely excited about the future. Cheers...later!
