Artist History the monkeypaw has always been a Chicago band. It began in 1997 with the same 3 members as today. Playing the hell out of Chicago and cities nationwide and garnering tons of press with their first album has put the paw on the map. All of this has led to the upcoming release of their long awaited second album on Orange Recordings.
