Artist History Schwarzwurst is the brainchild of Otto Gielgund - the son of a wurst butcher who fled Milwaukee just after that city's famous "Grade A Angus Insurrection". After a harrowing cross country trip through the forlorn and backwards Ohio territory, and hiding out while being pursued by the ruthless "state police" - the family finally settled in The Nation's Kapitol. There Otto, when not working in his father's new butcher shop, has sought to soothe his heart wrenching experiences by bringing his love of wurst to the masses. He does this, superbly, with the music of his homeland. This project is Schwarzwurst! The sound is for everyone.
