Artist description
Sceptre is a rock band from Bombay. The band consists of Timir Chimulkar on lead guitars and vocals, Aniket Waghmode on drums, Janus Sayal on bass guitar.
SCEPTRE stands for a metal weapon associated with sovereignty i.e. with kings and emperors.
Sceptre has been pretty popular on the Bombay rock circuit and has gathered a decent fan following
with their wild and intense performances in a very short span of time.

Artist History
Sceptre was formed on the 1st of December 1998 by Timir when he met Aniket and then subsequently bumping into Janus. The dates official ‘cos that’s when the band had their first jam.
The first gig came along within only 20 days of formation. They performed at the prestigious mood-I festival at IIT,Powai at the elimination rounds. They had Ajay, a common friend helping them out on
Lead guitars,that time. The maiden performance was very well applauded and gathered a lot of positive
remarks. From then on the band took off and did a lot of gigs in and around Bombay mostly at the Razz-Rhino which is supposed to be a platform for all rock bands in Bombay and has garnered a lot of love
and respect from music lovers, peers and other bands.

Instruments
Timir uses a custom made guitar flying V and marshall amps. Aniket uses a Gladnick drum kit Sabian crash and Ride,Zildjian sticks 5b and Vicking double bass pedal . Janus uses a Explorer shape Maison bass guitar,and marshall amp. Amar uses ibanez guitar uses also a korg processor and marshall amps |
