Artist description
Fall From Heaven reigns from the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA and has been creating music together for almost two years. Since the formation in the summer of 2000 by friends Jay, Ryan, and Brett, FFH has grown individually and as a collective whole. With bringing in guitarists and bassists to try out they successfully found a pair in Kyle and Andy. The lineup was set and new material was written. Six months after the formation FFH recorded their first recording released as a demo, which sold over 300 copies in its short circulation. With just a demo under their belts, Fall From Heaven toured the North Eastern part of the United States in the summer of 2001 and just completed a weekend with friends Set Ablaze. After coming home from the weekend tour FFH went back into the studio to record four new songs. These songs, which show much progression since the first cd, were put onto a promo cd and sold at only one show and sent to numerous websites and other outlets.
Fall From Heaven combines the technical playing of metal with the punishing breakdowns of hardcore to produce a unique style of metalcore without the emo parts. Growing in reputation all across the states and Europe, FFH shows no signs of slowing down.

Press Reviews
" To be totally honest, I was surprised and impressed by the band's four song demo. It's a lot of open-E chord chugging with single note melodies. Other bands that do similar things such as Arkangel and For the Love Of come to mind. The vocals are multidimensional, sometimes employing a more guttural death metal growl, but more often than not, it's a throaty scream. Thankfully, no singing parts at all, as they're getting played out. Dance parts are plentiful and emo parts are nonexistent. This is how metalcore should be done. As for production, this thing is hard-hitting and very loud, which is uncommon for demos.
So there you have it, totally unbiased. I suggest checking this band out if you're tired of the direction metalcore has taken."
