Artist description
Intensely groove-based rockers Turnabout from Bellingham, Washington combine what have come to be known as the common tools in the era
of rock (guitars, bass and drums) to form a sharp cutting, high energy,
melodic alternative to the modern day rock you've heard. Ranging in ages between 19 and 22, all four members of Turnabout currently
attend Western Washington University.
With his soulful voice and highly skilled guitar work, Kyle Winter (lead vocals, guitars) stands at the epicenter of the Turnabout sound.
Rob Taylor (lead guitar) provides smoothly crafted guitar playing and melodic solos creating an atmosphere that helps Turnabout achieve their distinctive sound.
Locking the groove down, Adam Bollen (bass guitar, b.g. vocals) provides the impeccable low end of Turnabout in a manner all his own. The man of the hour, Mike Faris (drums, percussion) keeps Turnabout locked in time with his most-impressive drumming expertise. Their live show promises an energetic
round of original material and a cover or two.
"While there may not be one specific influence, every good band we've ever heard has influenced each of us in some unique
way." The most noteworthy bands include: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead,
,Vertical Horizon and Third Eye Blind. You'll hear a combination of the four within the
sound of Turnabout, the up and coming band out of Bellingham, Washington.
