Artist description
Most of the JMAB's songs are odes to their frontman,
an enigmatic but humble man named Jared Manley. The
band was formed by Jared's close friends and musical
partners to pay tribute to his dashing good looks
and irrestible charm. Basically if you enjoy music,
in any form or another, you will find something to
enjoy about the JMAB, whether it be there funky
dance songs, their fresh and fly rap tunes, their
sweeping, epic folk numbers, their emotional piano
ballads, or their thrashing hard rock songs; there's
something for every music lover. The JMAB is hip,
it's unique, and you should appreciate it. |

Music Style
Very eclectic...infact, a little too eclectic. This band is based around the appreciation of one very handsome and talented young man, Jared Manley, featuring every music style and genre from rap to rock, folk to techno, piano ballads to porn music. |

Musical Influences
Jared Manley is our ultimate muse and influence. |

Although we have the eclectic, diverse sound of people like Beck and Zappa, don't be fooled: our music is completely 100% original (well, we sample some artists) and zany, unlike anything out there. |

Artist History
Danno Dubois decided to form a band with his good
friend Jared Manley during the winter of 2000. They
decided that they wanted their songs to be very unique
and eclectic, while revolving around a central theme
and muse. It was decided that the best theme possible
would be the appreciation of Jared Manley, the band's
singer and guitarist. The song "Jared Manley Dance" was
released and recieved rave reviews from local listeners as
downloads off of Napster were countless. The B-side to
the single "The Redder Rudolph" was also a hit. The
group soon added new members, like the
songwriter/singer Sean Magee, the
guitarist/rapper Ben Gebo, and the mastermusician
Dan Gross. The next year's musical efforts yeilded
three studio albums and several live preformances.
The JMAB is #5 on the Top Five Techno Artists Downloads
for Napster.
