Artist History Extra-Fine Productions, is an independently based record label that is situated in Blind River, Ontario near the North Shore of Lake Huron. Our main initiative is to work with untapped, local talent and to give them a chance to reach a larger audience. We are a fresh group of ambitious musicians who are eager to find our voice and share it with the world. Our latest endeavour is "Homegrown Mix" Volume 1 which is a compilation CD that displays the diversity of styles encompassed by the artists we are working with at the moment. The sounds and themes of the variety of songs featured on this CD range from songs about love, heartache, travel, celebration as well as more serious topics like the song entitled "Never Forget." "Never Forget" was inspired by the horrible tragedy that occurred on Sept. 11th, 2001. It is meant to remind us all of the destruction hate can breed and to honour the lives of the many people who fell at the hands of terrorism. MCTV has also used the song in a segment of their local news on September 11, 2202.We hope you enjoy our music.
