Artist description
Crabby Earl's sound is a mix between pop and alternative rock. They enjoy writing and performing original material, but have a great time covering popular favorites in their unique style. Beyond the music, however, lies a great camaraderie between the members. Their personalities compliment one another and the pranks and wisecracks keep everyone laughing. This solid foundation is apparent to their audience and keeps their performances fresh and fun. |

Artist History
Orlando, Florida's Crabby Earl was formed in early 2001 when lead guitarist Earl Vazquez asked singer Jami Lynne to come to a jam session at his house. Earl had already been playing with bassist Mark Nielsen and drummer John Hales for some time. There was an immediate chemistry between the four musicians, so Jami was happy to sign on as the lead vocalist of the fledgling band. As they began writing original material, Crabby Earl realized that there was a major element missing from their sound... a keyboard. The band members put out their feelers and began the hunt for the perfect fifth member. After weeks of fruitless searching, Earl came across what seemed like a good candidate on a musician's web site. After a brief email correspondence, the group invited Eric "G.G." Gee to join them for an informal jam. It was apparent to everyone in the room that Eric was Crabby Earl's missing link and he was instantly adopted as the band's fifth member. |
