Artist History TIMO LAINE (PKA) SYMPHONIC SLAM OR SLAM FOR SHORT WAS THE PIONEER OF GUITAR SYNTHESIZER TECHNOLOGY. IN THE EARLY DAYS HE RECORDED THE FIRST EVER GUITAR SYNTHESIZER ALBUM ON A&M RECORDS ( SYMPHONIC SLAM). AT THAT TIME THE RELEASE WAS WORLD WIDE,AND WON TIMO THE TITLE (FATHER OF THE GUITAR SYNTHESIZER).PAST MEMBERS OF SLAM WERE JIMMY HASLIP OF THE YELLOW JACKETS.DAVID STONE, FROM RICHIE BLACKMORES RAINBOW.LINDA NARDINI (BOSTON POPS}.TODAY NOE CRUZ IS ON BASS AND,BOB WINN ON DRUMS. The band has had a world wide release by A&M. A Canadian release by Lady Records. A new re-issue on MUSEA RECORDS, world wide.The band has just completed a new cd, called, HER FIRE.
