    Artist History
RESERVOIR JONES are a three piece Rock 'n' Roll Punk outfit from Stockport, England. For the past few months they have played to packed Pubs & Clubs, across the Northwest, shifting many Tapes and T-shirts along the way. They have amassed quite a strong following locally with playing the Student Haunts of Manchester and Stockport regularly.

Able to stun a crowd with their blistering live performance, it's not going to be too long before they get noticed. Recently back in studio, they have cut, without doubt, their best recordings to date, courtesy of their local recording studio "The Shed" Check out the webpage for a full run down on the recent tour to Los Angeles. In need of the RIGHT manager.

    Press Reviews
Manchester now has less live venues than a right hand has fingers and even less worth playing. The last thing worth persevering within this environment is a live band, or at least it would be if the band in question weren’t so good. Lets face it – you have to be different to get on in a nothing scene like that and different is what these guys do. They have energy, velocity, volume and …f**k it they’re good, they’re fun. Music to drink to, to dance to and jump about like a d**khead to if you can’t dance. There’s only three of them and the sound is tight out of necessity – you don’t last long if there’s only three of you and you can’t play (not if you look like this lot anyway). There’s a raw punk edge to the sound but there’s more life to the tunes than that. The combination of ability, good humour and lack of pretension earns them their following. Currently entirely self promoted via the WWW and word of mouth, material is available on the burgeoning digital MP3 format over the Internet and on cassette and CD by request. They have already shifted thousands of units this way alone. They also have a range of merchandise available at gigs - shortly to be moving through independent stores as well. A British band will naturally gravitate towards London, but perhaps due in part to the sound and also the nature of their promotion, gig offers and major interest is currently coming from the States. September saw them perform a number of shows in Los Angeles, CA. A very succesfull tour. Criminal to think that Reservoir Jones are likely to be poached away from the UK. Does their sound fit better over there? Bollocks. Watch a gig, they go down a storm ANYWHERE.
