Artist History
Keith Anderson is the old kid on the block. And damn proud of it. "Somewhere in Your Heart", the followup to his No Excuse Records release "Fire With Fire", transcends age, race and gender with its ability to make everyone feel good. "My music's a blend of world beats, pop, and smooth funkey grooves,"Says Anderson. "Blended with a positive message." Anderson first gained attentionon 98.9 FM's "Best of" showcase, then charted on numerous Northwest stations, promoting "Fire With Fire" with featured stints at Bite of Seattle, as well as numerous music festivals and in-store appearances. Over the past several years, Anderson has become one of the most recognizable entertainment figures in the Puget Sound area with his weekly cable TV show "The Real Keith Anderson", featuring videos, concert footage, and Keith's off-the-cuff humor. Says Anderson, "I'm currently putting together my "Somewhere in Your Heart" touring band, including congas, keyboards, and wailing guitars."In additon, Anderson is supervising the dance remix of "I Can Make Believe", whose video of the album mix was consistantly voted in the overall top ten on the Disney/Viacom sponsored site, anteye.com, until its plug was recently pulled, and has just been chosen by Madrigal Music, UK, for their pilot for a British TV series featuring newly-breaking musical artists. |
