Artist History Fear Boys with Bugs was founded by Chad Fifer, formerly of macabre-rock band Pitch Black Manor, after his move from Illinois to L.A. in '96. The band produced the tracks on The Lovecraft Suite and Other between '96 and '98, and were going to cut a professional record when a dispute prompted Criswell to depart for realms unknown. Crippled for years by the loss of his friend and partner, Fifer ended Fear Boys and joined ambient outfit Spyder, drowning himself in the maddening waters of drugs, depression and debauchery. Recently, however, with the aid of futuristic rock computer BelaTron 2000, Fifer and Criswell have made a new peace with one another and will soon be reuniting to record new Fear Boys songs
