Artist History
In 1991 some silly people who couldn't really play tried to be progressive. Over the years most of them (especially Ron) were replaced, and the remainder learned to play. Sort of. |

Press Reviews
The local band ESP is strange, clever and talented. They have a sick and twisted sense of humor which they use to engage the listener. Musically, they seem to be on top of their game with wild arrangements, dissonant voicings and time changes that scream a Zappa influence. If bands like Mr. Bungle and King Crimson tickle your fancy, then you will enjoy the slapstick weirdness of the song. "My Grandma is an Eggplant." Bye, Bye, Blee is kind of like being in a circus with silly clowns one minute and then stumbling into an insane asylum the next. You never really see the quirky changes coming and I get the sense that’s how they want thier music to affect people. ESP slip in goofy skits between intense musical journeys like "Water Heater" and "N’at." - Byron Nash, Rock 'n Roll Reporter |
