Artist description
Welcome to this site. PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF MY MUSIC, PERHAPS WHY. RememberI am a fragile spirit so be gentle, but criticisms are welcome. My name is Mark Chiriboga. I will not try to describe myself to you. After all, that is part of the reason I write music and lyrics. I offer these songs to you in hope they will bring you some enjoyment, motivate, and or inspire you. I have played and written music mostof my life. It has been a continuous passion, motivation, trial, inspiration and rewarding journey. In a way, music is my way of carving my name in a tree, or writing my name in wet cement in a sidewalk: a way for me to say "this is who I am, I was here. Here is something I learned, orjust something for you to enjoy." My primary instrument is guitar which I started playing at the age of eight. Next, the flute...in High School. During this time I played in the marching band, concert band, bass and regular guitar in jazz band and of course had the rock and roll band where I would be on my knees playing the guitar with my teeth at weekend dancesin the gymnasium. Studied music for a while at the University of Florida, where of course one has to learn at least some piano. I have played in many different bands, solo acts, duo's, trio's, big bands and a small amount of orchestra work in school. I hope you will enjoy these songs and EMAIL ME TO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. CD's can purchased by clicking above. I promise, the investment will pay off in better musicto come, but of course, help yourself to this music free if you prefer or eMail if you would prefer to purchase a CD directly from me. Thanx, Mark |

Artist History
I have been playing guitar for longer than I care to admit. I continue to attempt to capture my true passion for music, but as of yet don't think I have. I am getting better at it and I will try to continually update. So, please check back often. I have played in many different bands, duos and solo acts. I was "Terry The Hippie" in the movie "Caddyshack." I have aired on WSHE in South Florida, Fox television in Charleston S.C., other various radio stations, and television stations such as Channel 17 in Miami, Florida. |
