Artist History
Anyone remember demo groups like Future Crew, SonicPC, Triton, Complex, Vahalla and others? How about musicians like Purple Motion, Skaven, Zodiak, Jugi, Ryan Cramer to name a few? These were the demo groups that revolutionized the demoscene and made attention to the fact that you could created high quality, highly functional demostration that shows what a computer was capable of. All these demos contained artwork of such detail and beauty. And last but certainly not least... the music. This is the music that inspired a whole new generation of computer trackers, including me! People that composed apsolutely amazing songs from nothing more but their computers! That's it. No midi. No high class computerized synthsizer. Just a basic tracking programs running on a 486 with 4 megs of memory and a wealth of inspiration.
All music was processed through Sound Forge to clean up the samples. You will notice that on some songs the quality may be low. This is because of the low quality of samples used in the song to begin with. The song however is still timeless.
If you remember these demos, hopefully these songs will bring you back to that first time you discovered your first Future Crew or Triton demo and was blown away by not only the visuals but the audio as well.
